| Legend: | Fragments of dwarven writings found in Kazordoon tell of a curse upon the Cormaya Mountains. The writings are said to be connected to a forbidden artifact sealed in the mine's deepest chamber. The texts describe "the Eye of Aurum," a golden crystal said to have been forged by the great dwarf Garum in his final days. The artifact is believed to amplify the strength of its wielder, but at the cost of their sanity. Many of the dwarves who once inhabited the mountain were corrupted by the Eye's energy, transforming them into violent and paranoid creatures bent on eliminating anyone who came near their home. |
