Spells ยป Antidote Rune
In the early days, when the world was still young and people were unexperienced with the dangers of the wild, many adventurers fell victim to poisonous creatures, who were roaming the caves and forests. Soon some druids had found a way to create poison fields and some people were badly hurt and even killed by unconsciously stepping into these fields. Since the druids couldn't bear this and also wanted to help those young adventurers that were not able to cleanse themselves of such poison, they continued research beyond the development of the antidote spell. In the end, they found a way to create runes that were able to stop the effect of any known kind of poison. Soon, many of the guides, people who led youngsters around in the wilderness, carried several of these runes with them at all times, to aid the weak.
In recent history, the use of this spell has decreased greatly, though, since young people learn their lessons far away from the really dangerous parts of this world and guides are barely found these days.
