When the magic energy stored on this rune is unleashed, it weaves a net of small invisible strings around the target, thus tying it up so that it cannot move. Moreover, some strings penetrate into the victim paraylzing it internally. The net, and with it the effect, will vanish after some seconds.

Use this spell if you want to flee from a monster or if you want to get time to execute your final stroke, but note that some creatures are resistant against paralysis, and if the victim heals itself or is healed this effect will also vanish.
