Mining

Mining plays a crucial role in the production chain. Adventurers can explore open areas, caves and mountains to extract valuable ores and rare minerals. These resources serve as the foundation for crafting, allowing players to forge better equipments.

To start with mining, first you need a pickaxe. With a regular pick, you'll already be able to mine lava holes, ice lava holes, and mossy stones. As with any other skill, you may receive mining experience for each attempt to advance in mining. With more advanced skills, you will be able to use more advanced picks and mine other types of stones.

To be able to use all the picks and advance the skill faster, you also need to acquire the miner profession. Find the miner Budrik in dwarf mines - near Kazordoon to learn more about it. Modified, advanced and enhanced picks greatly improve the chances of mining, but they also could break. Note, however, that the chance to break the pick varies depending on the speed at which the mine is broken. With a low mining skill the pickaxe will have a much lower chance of being broken.

All mines has a random respawn time and could vary from 30m to 2h. Similar to creature's spawns, mines only spawns if there are no players on screen.
