This spell is intended for healing other members of your party which are not capable of doing that themselves. Magic energy will flow onto the named wounded person, stopping bleeding and mending wounds, thus restoring many hitpoints. Of course, the other person must be near you.

This spell is very useful for parties. While the stronger fighters attack, a magician could wait behind the lines healing the casualties.
