Crafting

The art of crafting has emerged as a new opportunity for adventurers to expand their skills beyond combat. It consists on two activities: break items and craft new equipments.

To start crafting, you need an iron hammer, which can be acquired through the Iron Hammer Quest. If you own a house, you can purchase an anvil from A Sweaty Cyclops for 5.000 gold, or use one found elsewhere on the map. Before craft anything, you must advance in crafting by breaking some equipments.

To break an equipment, place the item on top of the anvil and use your iron hammer. If you have enough crafting skill to break that item, It will be destroyed and will provide you some materials, such as steels, draconian steels and hell steels. These materials are extremely necessary for crafting. The higher the classification of an item, it will bring you more valuable materials. Breaking equipments also advance your crafting skill, so it is a good option for training.

Items bought from NPC's are also made with a special protection on its metals, so you are not able to break them.

Only blacksmiths are able to craft items. To acquire this profession, find the blacksmith A Sweaty Cyclops in Ab'dendriel. You need at least 20 crafting skill to be promoted. To start crafting items, gather the necessary materials, place them on top of the anvil, and use your iron hammer.

The rate for sucessfully craft is 10% + (crafting skill - 10) * item rate.
